EARTH DAY @ SCC – March 26, 2014.

This year our Earth Day will be celebrated on March 26, 2014. This years theme will revolve around “Social Entrepreneurship”. Guest speakers for the event include Courtney Klein-Johnson and Angelo Torrealba. More information will be provided shortly.

EV Charging Stations are now available for use.

SCC is proud to announce that the EV-Charging Stations located on the east side of the campus are now available for usage. Employees, students and visitors that own an electric vehicle can charge their car right here on campus.

A BLINK Card is needed to use the stations. To obtain a card, download the blink app to your phone or other useful information, please visit blinknetwork.com.  The average cost for a gallon equivalent is approximately $1.10, which is less than one third of current gas prices (June 27, 2013).

Information on how to use the BLINK card and the BLINK charging stations is provided below:

To see if a station is available for charging, or to find another location to charge your car go to the interactive BLINK map.

We hope you will enjoy this new service that our college will provide to its students, employees and the greater community. Please let us know how we are doing by emailing us at green@scottsdalecc.edu.
