Course Description

Studio course for art majors allowing continuation in a subject field. You will study in depth the graphic design process utilizing research, brainstorming and conceptualization. Emphasis will be on project development, evaluation and presentation. Prerequisites: ART182 or permission of instructor.

Course Objectives

This course is designed to give you an advanced look at design principles and the stages of graphic design, with an emphasis on final product, presentation and portfolio examples. We will explore in depth solutions to simple and complex problems fitting within the parameters of the assignment.
