Utilizing graphic design essentials of typography, contrast and layout you will develop and offer design solutions to problems in consumer advertising, typography and structure. Emphasis will be placed on thorough analysis and the discovery of branding positioning. Prerequisites: ART181 or permission of instructor.

This course is designed to help you expand on your understanding of design principles and the stages of graphic design, with an emphasis on final product and presentation. We will explore a variety of solutions to simple and complex problems fitting within the parameters of the assignment.
